From a Song to a Full Animated Adventure.

Designing, illustrating, and animating the complete "Ahoj Polsko!" music video from scratch for Poland's national children's broadcast channel - TVP ABC.

The Overview

This project was a complete start-to-finish production. I was responsible for developing the entire visual concept, scenario, and all animation based only on the provided song.

The Challenge: Building a World from Audio Alone.

This project for TVP ABC had a massive creative challenge. I was not given a script, characters, or a storyboard. The only asset I received was the final song.

My job was to invent the entire visual concept from scratch. I developed the "pirate adventure" scenario as the narrative thread to turn what was an educational geography song (about Warsaw, Toruń, Kraków) into a fun, engaging cartoon that kids would actually want to watch.

A "Cut-Out" Style Built on Smart Techniques

To unify the diverse topics—from atomic physics to industrial processes—I designed a high-tech, "Heads-Up Display" (HUD) visual language.

I developed a vibrant, 2D "cut-out" style to give the video a playful, hand-crafted feel. The production process was built on smart efficiency to meet the broadcast deadline:

To efficiently create the complex educational assets (the landmarks), I developed a smart workflow:

Landmarks: I used a photo-tracing and "trim path" technique in Illustrator to create stylized, animated outlines of monuments like the Warsaw Mermaid.

Character Animation: Instead of complex rigging, I used a classic "limited animation" technique. I drew the pirate in several key poses (e.g., neutral, arm up, winking) and then animated by rapidly sequencing these static illustrations. This "cut-out" method gave the illusion of movement and perfectly matched the hand-drawn, cartoon feel.
